The electrician came, and we now have more light fixtures and switches to turn them on. Unfortunately the custom color outlets and switches we want are special order and will not be in for a while. We also found out that the ceiling fan down rod extension we had was the wrong size and we were missing a small but necessary part for the foyer pendant. So we will have to wait a couple more weeks to finish that job.
In the mean time, Perla and I are busy painting the downstairs bedroom. The color is called guacamole. Perla’s cousin Natali is coming this weekend, so we have a good incentive to get the work done. The next project will be to remove the carpet and carpet glue in that room and install the hardwood floor.
Last night the babies slept from about 11:30 pm until 8:30 am! I don’t think they slept the whole morning, but they stayed quietly in their cribs.
We are going through our clothing stores to bring out bigger items because many of the 3 – 6 month size clothes are very tight now (at 5 1/2 months).
