Emilia is now standing up and clapping. We went to the neurologist at Johns Hopkins last Friday for a final EMG test. The doctor found that the nerves in her arm have regenerated, and her arm is fully recovered.
We have tried many new foods such as rice, cottage cheese, cheddar cheese, pasta, and many more.

Yesterday we went to the pediatrician for their 9 month well visit. We had a few tears from the immunization shots, but everything looks good.

She ended up not needing a drainage tube. Perla put in many long hours at her side in the hospital. Florencia was not allowed in the hospital room, so she and Ben were mostly at home. Thanks to Audrey and Chris, Rui Shen, Elizabeth, and Gladys for all the babysitting and other help!
Florencia holds her own bottle, ready for milk without Mama Emilia playing in the new corral before the surgery Emila in her hospital crib post-surgery. Many wires and tubes. Favorite toys keep Emilia happy at the hospital
